ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES REVIEW
Electronic cigarettes are used by smokers trying to replace their conventional cigarettes.
Electronic cigarette is also called a personal inhaler, an e-cig, or an electronic cigarette. This is an electronic inhaler which vaporizes the liquid solution contained in the cartridge of the cigarette into mist which acts as a simulation of smoking tobacco. Electronic cigarettes are not considered as a replacement for tobacco in many countries hence can’t replace conventional cigarettes in the market. The only similarities between the two types of cigarettes (the conventional and the electronic cigarette) are the physical attributes as some look alike and that both contain nicotine. However for E-cigs one can adjust the amount of nicotine unlike in conventional cigarettes which have standard nicotine amounts.

ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES CARTRIDGE
Cartridge is the plastic part which contains two openings on both ends.
The cartridge is the half end of the cigarette that contains the liquid and serves as the mouthpiece. It has two openings on each end to allow liquid to the atomizer from the liquid reservoir and remove vapor from the atomizer on inhaling without any liquid being leaked out into the mouth. The liquid can be refilled or replace the whole cartridge. Cartridges have a plastic sponge that ensures the liquid is in place but you can also use a refillable tank that holds the liquid with a different tunnel connected to the atomizer. On depletion of the liquid the user will refill it by him or her or he or she can replace with another already filled cartridge. However some users may opt to drip directly into the atomizer the process called dripping. One cartridge can be equitable to 40 cigarette smokes.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES ATOMIZER Then is the atomizer which has a micro heating coil, which has a small filament, which is used to vaporize the liquid passed from the cartridge. The atomizer contains a silica wick which absorbs the liquid from the cartridge before heating and vaporizing it. The atomizer is in between the cartridge and the power unit attached on the other end. As time goes by the atomizer may lose its efficiency due to a buildup of sediments or may even burn out requiring replacing. However in some models both the cartridge and the atomizer are integrated and is referred to as the cartomizer.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES BATTERY
This is the largest component in an electronic cigarette and has a portable lithium ion rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery is the power unit source which contains electronic airflow sensor so during inhalation it is triggered. There are models which have a power switch held during operation. The front of the power unit case may have a LED so as to notify activation. The batteries are charged via an AC outlet, USB or car power source. Some e-cig manufactures offer a cigarette portable charging case that has a large battery to charge the smaller battery of e-cigarettes.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES LIQUID The liquid which is vaporized can be of different flavors and may contain nicotine. It is also called the e-juice. It is a solution of both vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, either of them is mixed in concentrated flavors and with a concentration of liquid nicotine. The propylene glycol is not natural but is a manufactured component that when heated it breaks down to H2O and CO2.
Kits are another component of the e-cig which contains the battery, charger and cartridges. However this depends on the e-cig model since even some e-cigs contain a charging case.
MODS This is a more complex part of the e-cigs and contains the mod batteries which allow one to experiment with voltages. Increasing voltage makes the flavor burn at a hotter rate which increases the overall taste.

Electronic cigarettes avoid releasing the harmful nicotine. The ingredient making up the flavor and the electronic cigarette can’t cause cancer.
It doesn’t produce smoke and gives same satisfaction as the conventional smoke. People around the smoker aren’t affected. And this is user and environmental friendly.

We should consider some of the safety tips about e- cigarettes.
Since e-cigarettes are not a accustomed under the same laws of tobacco, young people are not barred from using hence this raises major concern of nicotine addiction for our young people.
This product has not been well tested and therefore poses a question of its effectiveness and safe.
